Welcome to Westlake and Rollingwood
Idyllic suburban communities with rolling hillside views
Westlake and Rollingwood are two idyllic suburban communities on the rolling hills southwest of Downtown Austin. These communities are actually cities unto themselves, enjoy easy access to Lake Austin, and the rolling topography provides captivating city views. Much of the construction in the area is contemporary, with elegantly designed homes in a range of architectural styles. Homes are large and feature gourmet kitchens, luxurious indoor and outdoor living space, lavish entertaining spaces, and diverse bespoke design features such as wine cellars and home theaters. Young families are particularly drawn to the area thanks to their inclusion in the highly-regarded Eanes Independent School District.
Several shopping and dining areas are dotted throughout Westlake and Rollingwood. Highlights at the Forum in Westlake include
Texas Honey Ham, which specializes in signature Texan breakfast tacos, and French-style meals and desserts at
Blue Dahlia Bistro.
Village at Westlake is a shopping center featuring dozens of businesses, ranging from recognizable brands to small specialty retailers. Businesses at Rollingwood’s Mira Vista shopping center include Amy’s Ice Cream and Trader Joe’s.
Sway in Westlake serves delectable authentic Thai dishes and craft cocktails with a rooftop deck providing stunning city views.
Westlake and Rollingwood are a short drive away from Downtown, and Rollingwood is located right next to
Zilker Park, a sprawling 350-acre green space on the south bank of the Colorado River.
Rollingwood Park in the heart of Rollingwood features baseball fields and children’s playgrounds. The private
Western Hills Athletic Club is located at Rollingwood Park. Its facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts.
The award-winning Eanes Independent School District is among the best in Texas. The outstanding schools of Eanes ISD include Eanes Elementary School, Hill Country Middle School, and Westlake High School.
