For Robin Banister, real estate is more than transactions. It is about relationships, perspective, and guiding people through meaningful moments of change.

Robin brings more than two decades of experience to Austin’s real estate market and is known for her consistency, discretion, and calm judgment. Her work has been recognized by Austin Business Journal Top 50, Austin’s Elite 25, Luxury League, Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals, Women in Austin Real Estate, and PT50’s Top 2.5% Early Qualifier. She is a founding agent of Compass Austin and Compass Austin Luxury Advisors and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Mansion Global, and The Real Deal. Robin is also a designated Compass Austin Luxury Agent, a distinction earned through qualification and performance.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Robin began her career immediately after college, working with her family’s homebuilding company. Her late husband was a well-known luxury custom home builder, and his background in construction played a meaningful role in shaping Robin’s understanding of building quality, materials, and the construction process. This foundation continues to inform her work today, whether advising on new construction, resale homes, or land opportunities.
